Environmental Law
Civil Environmental Law and Public Environmental Law
One of the issues handled by the Civil Environmental Law practice group is soil pollution. Its activities in the field of civil environmental liability include advice on the purchase and sale of polluted land, the redevelopment of polluted locations, and the drafting of contracts regulating the risks of and liability for soil pollution.
The activities in the field of public environmental law include assisting companies in filing environmental permit applications or requesting changes in permit regulations. We also conduct administrative law proceedings in the event of objections to e.g. noise or odour pollution caused by a business. We also conduct proceedings against (or assist in) enforcement actions by the authorities against environmental offences.
Our clients are public and semi-public authorities, project developers, building and contracting firms, housing corporations, environmental agencies and private individuals.
